Access for Infants and Mothers
Access for Infants and Mothers (AIM) provides health care to pregnant women with no health insurance for their pregnancy, and who aren't receiving health care through Medi-Cal. After the baby is born, the AIM Program provides health care to the baby for two years.
A pregnant woman and her infant enrolled in AIM will receive their care from a specified Health Plan. The pregnant woman will also participate in the cost of her health care services through a low cost subscriber contribution. The State of California supplements the subscriber contribution to cover the full cost of care.
AIM is administered by the Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board (MRMIB)
