Parents Helping Parents received a grant of $32,633 from the Yahoo! Employee Foundation, a donor advised fund of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. YEF funding will support two of the many PHP programs promoting success for students with learning disabilities (LD).

Parents Helping Parents (PHP) received Exceptional Parent Magazine’s Maxwell J. Schleifer Distinguished Service Award for its dedication and service to improving the lives of people with special needs and disabilities.

Individual donors, corporations, and foundation funds not only help PHP achieve our mission, they help to strengthen families that can then successfully provide the love, hope, and respect that children need.

PHP’s mission is to help children and adults with special needs receive the support and services they need to reach their full potential by providing information, training and resources to build strong families and improve systems of care.
