The Fourth Annual Chronic Illness and Postsecondary Educational SymposiumLinking Clinical and Educational Perspectives in Service of Students who have Chronic Illness. Sponsored by DePaul University's Chronic Illness Initiative. This two day interdisciplinary conference will engage professionals who work with students who have chronic illness and help them to learn to recognize and serve this population. Join us as we look at:

• Connecting clinical and community services to higher education institutions
• Educating medical and counseling professionals regarding the impact of college life on their patients/clients
• Improving the skills of faculty and staff who interact with college students with chronic illness
• Empowering students with chronic illness
• Utilizing family and social networks as support systems for students with chronic illness
• Understanding the experience of students with chronic illness (subjectively or objectively)
• Advocating for persons with chronic illness
• Uncovering options for students with chronic illness post-graduation
