- Clean and Safe Schools
- Books to Use in Class and to take home
- Qualified Teachers
Learn more about the Williams Settlement Legislation and take home useful resources.
7:30 to 8:30PM The Advocacy Workshop. Learning advocacy skills is a process that happens over time. New parents quickly realize that there is much to learn about parent and child rights. Learning with a group of motivated parents is fun and interactive. Connecting with other families in your community will be a useful resource.
This workshop is a place for you to gain knowledge, training and skills to effectively advocate for your child or the children you work with.
The chapters in the book 'From Emotions to Advocacy' by Pete and Pam Wright form the basis of this workshop. Each month we move through a portion of the book using powerpoint and interactive discussion along with handouts.
We regret that childcare is not available. This workshop is for parents/guardians.
