The playgroup is full and the waitlist is closed.  Due to the upcoming holidays the next playgroup will be in February 2010.  It will listed online and open for reservations during the first week of January.

A parent-participation playgroup for children of all abilities, ages birth though 5. 

Join us at our monthly playgroup for a fun time with your children (0 through 5) and other families!  At this parent/caregiver participation playgroup you will have an opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities with your child.  The focus of the morning is the children.  Parents are involved with their children, facilitating their involvement in the activities and with other children.  As you participate and follow your child to activities that interest them, you may have the opportunity to chat a little with nearby parents/caregivers, too. 

We transform one of our meeting rooms for the playgroup.  We also enjoy some outdoor time in our large fenced patio and garden area.  A light snack is provided. (If your child has special dietary needs, please bring your own light snack.)  We end the morning at circle time with songs and stories.  The experienced playgroup leader, Danielle, works in a local program that serves families with children in the Early Start early intervention program.

Make a reservation by clicking on "Reserve Seats" below or by calling Parents Helping Parents (408) 727-5775.  Please include your email address if you have one, so that we may confirm your reservation. Later we will also send you a reminder with more information about what to expect at the playgroup.  We limit the number of families attending.  Once the playgroup is full, reservations will go to the waitlist. 

NEW:  If you wish to pay online through PayPal, click on "Pay event fees online" below.  You may also pay the morning of the event.  (Bring exact change or a check or credit card.)   

Scholarships are available if the fee is a financial hardship.  (Simply email denny@php.com) 

There will be no playgroup is December or January.  The first 2010 playgroup will be on February 6.

FYI- Extra parking is available at the back of the building.  (Exit the main parking lot, turning right on Parkmoor.  Turn right at the next traffic light onto Race Street.  Turn right into one of the two entrances to the staff parking lot.  There is a back entrance to the building lobby.

Children of all abilities are welcome.
Children should be 5 years of age or under.
Parent/Caregiver participation is required.
Wear loose fitting clothing.
Wear older clothes for possible art activities.
