Breaking the Barriers: Facilitated Communication
Presented by the PHP Facilitated Communication Users Group, Loud Talking Fingers:
Come hear three extraordiary young people share their dreams and challenges breaking through the communication barrier with supported typing.
Kayla Takeuchi....an 18 yar old woman challenged by autism on the high school diploma path in Fresno, California.
Hari Srinivasan...a 14 year old national writing award winner and poet challenged by autism attending a local charter school on the diploma path.
Daniel Perez...a 24 year old man challenged by autism taking an English class at San Jose City College and a computer technology class at De Anza Community College.
