Amputees in Motion
AIM brings amputees and their families into social and sports activities with amputees in a spirit of common concern for the emotional and psychological health of all. A new amputee must
learn adjustments to previous routines, develop a renewed positive self-image and continue the process of growing mentally, emotionally and physically. AIM provides continuing contacts
with amputees to help reestablish an active and satisfying life.
Offering understanding, encouragement and guidance, and fostering self-help, Amputees in Motion members arrive when the need is greatest to provide peer support to the amputee and his family.
Amputees of any age and either sex may become a member.
