Adolescent Residential Center
The Youth and Family Services Program is an intensive treatment program designed to stabilize crisis situations and resolve behaviors that interfere with the adolescent's ability to function at home, school, foster care, and/or in a group home. The goal is for the adolescent to achieve the level of behavioral control that helps them continue to live at home or the most home-like setting possible, without the need to enter residential treatment or an acute psychiatric facility, as well as to achieving their full personal potential. Services will be provided by various methods: Individual/family therapy, groups, case management, crisis intervention, in-home visits, and other supportive methods. Services are sensitive to the needs of youth and families with diverse cultural backgrounds and partner with referrals from juvenile probation, county mental health, and department of social services.
