Located in San Mateo, CA Route 2 Language is a speech pathology clinic established to assess and provide speech and language therapy to individuals ages 2-18 with communication disorders. In addition we use Reading Revolution to create literacy lessons, for students of all ages and abilities. Route 2 Language provides services for a variety of speech and language disorders for individuals ages 2-18. Our primary focus is Language Disorders secondary to Autism. Due to the complexity of Autism, our practice provides services for individuals who may not be on the spectrum, but may have one of the many language disorders associated with Autism.     Language has been described as our most human characteristic, essential to learning, working, enjoying family life and friendships. There are certain individuals who do not learn or use language through the typical means. Due to increasing incidences another route to teach and use language must be sought. At Route 2 Language we believe every individual has the right and potential to use language effectively.
