Special Hope Foundation

The Special Hope Foundation was created to improve the quality of life for physically, emotionally, and developmentally disabled individuals and their support networks. We are particularly interested in unique services, education, and research that challenge the prevailing attitudes toward these special people. We will promote excellence, innovation and understanding through our grant making. Grants are provided for the following areas of focus:

  • Special Ed/Inclusion-based educational and recreational programs
  • Research in the areas of health and education
  • Job training for those with developmental disabilities
  • Care facilities geared toward disabled adults
  • Agencies that place infants with special needs in families
  • The Foundation awards grants to qualified, non-profit organizations with specific, identifiable need in these areas of support and restrict funding to these subject areas in order to make more effective use of limited resources.
