KidScope
KidScope at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC) is committed to the identification and early diagnosis of children with developmental variations and delays. KidScope is a comprehensive assessment center, serving children suspected of having complex developmental delays, serious behavior problems, or other undetermined concerns that are interfering with the child’s ability to develop and learn successfully.
KidScope is part of the Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital Systems Mental Health and the Department of Pediatrics. KidScope serves families who have Medi-Cal, Healthy Kids, or Healthy Families.
KidScope Assessment Center for Developmental & Behavioral Health is a partnership between the County of Santa Clara Health System Department of Pediatrics and Behavioral Health Services Department (BHSD). Our team provides assessment, child and family therapy and medication support services for infants, children and adolescents utilizing developmental, relational and trauma-informed models of practice. Our team includes Developmental Behavioral Pediatricians, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Parent Support Specialists.
Referral Process
For KidConnections Network, School Age Outpatient Behavioral Health and Psychiatry services, please contact the Behavioral Health Call Center at 1-800-704-0900.
For Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics, please see your Primary Care Physician, who will complete a referral based on their assessment.
