About Us
Children’s Health of Northern California (CHoNC) provides acute, subacute, and educational services to severely disabled or catastrophically injured children through a unique combination of facilities and programs. CHoNC’s facilities include the CHoNC Pediatric Hospital, a general acute care hospital with a distinct-part skilled nursing unit delivering subacute care; Saratoga Pediatric Subacute, a skilled nursing facility providing subacute care; and Scribbles & Giggles, a pediatric day health care center offering subacute day and respite.
Our programs include acute and subacute rehabilitation, comprehensive respiratory services, inpatient subacute care, outpatient subacute care, respite care, and educational programs in collaboration with the Santa Clara County Office of Education.

CHoNC Pediatric Hospital is a general acute care hospital that provides acute care services for catastrophically injured and severely disabled children. Located in Campbell (south San Jose area), CHoNC provides a wide-range of acute care for machine-dependent children age 0-21 years in the heart of the Silicon Valley.

Saratoga Pediatric Subacute
Located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, Saratoga Pediatric Subacute (SPS) is Northern California’s original provider of pediatric sub-acute care. Certified by CMS as a five-star facility, SPS provides 24-hour nursing and respiratory therapy to children age 0-21 years. All of our licensed staff are PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified and specially trained to treat catastrophically injured and severely disabled children.

Pediatric Day Health Center
Scribbles and Giggles Pediatric Day Health Center is dedicated to providing nursing services in a day care setting along with and early intervention to children with special and medical needs. We support parents and families through the inherent challenges of parenting a child with special needs. We strive to enrich each child’s experience through the use of developmental activities that are fun, educational, and therapeutic. We promote each child’s growth in reaching their highest potential.
Located in Saratoga and San Jose, California, Scribbles and Giggles is the FIRST pediatric day health center (PDHC) for children with special needs/medically-fragile children in the State of California. Our environment, our activities, our staff…everything is here to serve the individual needs of each child.

Innovations Health Systems, LLC is a diversified healthcare company focused on providing high acuity care and products to medically fragile Californians. IHS owns and operates the Pediatric Recovery Network for catastrophically injured and severely disabled, machine dependent children, and is currently building California’s first congregate living health community for catastrophically injured and severely disabled, machine dependent adults. All of the facilities and programs offered by IHS are the first of their kind in California, reflecting a tradition of innovation unmatched in health care.
