RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTER AND NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS

Founded in 1989, Oak Grove Center is a nonprofit Residential, Education and Treatment Center (with multiple campuses) for at-risk and special needs youth.  Oak Grove’s mission is to rebuild the lives of at-risk children and their families through educating, healing, restoring relationships, building character and instilling hope.

Serving more than 800 children and teens each year, Oak Grove offers a wide spectrum of services: residential care, education, wraparound, sports and the arts, programs for autism and independent living, partial hospitalization, outpatient services, addiction recovery and relapse programs, and much more.

Oak Grove is the gold standard of facilities in California having received multiple prized accreditations and licenses.  Oak Grove is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as a Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) and has earned accreditation by the Joint Commission (JCAHO) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

OUR PROGRAMS
AUTISM PROGRAM
Providing ABA services and supports for students ages 5-22 identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Other Health Impairment as appropriate.

ARTS PROGRAM
We believe that the arts provide healing opportunities for our youth. Artistic expression is therapeutic and provides a great way to “give back.” We have Performance Team, Rock Band, Visual Arts, Dance and more… Find out more about how you can support our Arts Program as well as upcoming and recent performances.

ILP THRIVE
Oak Grove is proud to be the new Independent Living Skills Program provider for Riverside County Department of Public Social Services. Our ILP is called THRIVE!

WRAPAROUND PROGRAM
The wraparound process provides comprehensive, community-based services and support to assist families as they work toward reunification or to in order to remain with their families and communities.

SPORTS PROGRAM
Sports and recreation builds character, teaches teamwork and is beneficial in treatment. Oak Grove offers students the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive as well character building sports.

SPECIALTY PROGRAMS
Oak Grove offers a variety of specialty programs that enrich and provide opportunities for growth and socialization. View which programs are included.

SPECIAL EDUCATION NONPUBLIC SCHOOL
The school serves students from districts throughout California. The teaching staff is comprised of an excellent group of educators with expertise in the fields of learning disabilities and emotional problems. Look here for more information about our program services.

RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT (AGES 8-18)
We serve children and youth ages 8-18 who need 24 hour treatment and care.

DAY PROGRAMS (AGES 5-22)
Our Day Program serves K-12 students from Riverside and San Diego County and is comprised of Day Students, Day Treatment as well as Extended Day Students. View more information about this program.

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
Available through arrangements for clients who can benefit from individual, group and family therapy as well as chemical dependency. Available after school. Outpatient services can be arranged for weekday or evening. View more information about this program.
