Psychiatrist

My psychiatry private practice is in Burlingame, CA and consists of medication management, psychotherapy and consultation to children and adults. I am currently accepting calls to schedule initial evaluations.

I completed a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Stanford University where I was elected Chief Child Psychiatry Fellow. My experience includes treatment of a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and ADHD/disruptive behavior. I completed my adult psychiatry residency at San Mateo County Medical Center and graduated from medical school at Loma Linda University in Southern California.

I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Prior to dedicating myself full-time to private practice, I was the Children’s Medical Director at Richmond Area Multi-services, Inc. (www.ramsinc.org) – a non-profit mental health agency in San Francisco.

I have been awarded several honors, including an American Medical Association Scholarship to provide medical care in Brazil and a National Institute of Mental Health travel scholarship to New York for Bipolar research. I was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle for my work with pediatric oncology patients and have made numerous presentations, including a talk at the 10th Annual Stanford University Symposium on Developmental Approaches to Psychopathology.
