Finding the right living option for adults with ID and/or DD is critical to their well-being and for their parents’ peace of mind. What our panelists have in common:
- Each has an adult child who is a regional center client living in California.
- Their adult child now lives in one of these most popular options: Residential Care Facility (group home, Supported Living in an independent setting, or At Home with parent(s).
- All receive additional public support and pay little or no out-of-pocket costs.
- All but one receive SSI benefits.
Content is appropriate for families living anywhere in California.
