Perhaps one of the more frustrating things about transition to adulthood for our loved ones who are regional center clients is finding an appropriate and supportive living situation for them. If your loved one is a regional center client and you’re investigating supported living options, whether your young adult/adult lives with you or not, this webinar is for you.

Please join Michael Pinkerton, Living Skills Program Director at Integrated Community Services, as he discusses regional center housing and living supports including:
– Supported Living Services
– Independent Living Programs
– Coordinated Family Support Service
– Community Care Facilities
– Family Home Agency

This webinar provides basic, general information of what regional centers throughout the state typically offer their clients. For information about what your loved one’s regional center offers, please reach out to their service coordinator.

Michael has been a part of Integrated Community Services (ICS) for over 10 years. He very much enjoys facilitating big changes in people’s lives, such as moving out or getting a first job. He finds it very satisfying to help people undertake these transitions and see how much they grow from their endeavors. Michael is also a Marriage Family Therapist, working with individuals with autism and their families.

This webinar will provide live Spanish interpretation.
If you need accommodations to participate in the training or assistance with registration, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected]. We typically require 10 days to arrange accommodations to ensure your inclusion.

This is a Connections California event, a project of Parents Helping Parents – Silicon Valley. Connections California is sponsored in part by the San Andreas Regional Center and the California Department of Developmental Services.
