Support for Caregivers

For Santa Clara County residents ONLY

Join us for an eight-week online series focused on self-care for caregivers, all from the comfort of your own home. You can attend all eight sessions or as many as your schedule allows. Led by Dr. Louise Kindell, a licensed psychologist, we will explore various aspects of caregiving, build a supportive community, and swap practical tips and resources. While these group meetings are not therapy, they aim to provide a nurturing environment where you can connect with other caregivers and learn to apply evidence-based skills and principles to your own self-care. Please register for each session you plan to attend.

Week Six: Self-Determination and Independence Skills
Age-appropriate ways to foster independence, decision-making, and self-advocacy skills in children/youth with developmental differences.
