Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.

At Parents Helping Parents, we harness the power of community support. Volunteers play a vital role in mentoring parents, organizing events, and providing resources for families in need. Your involvement can significantly impact lives, fostering belonging and empowerment. Join us in creating a supportive network and help us make a difference in the disability community!
Here are some examples of what volunteers do at PHP:
- Become a PHP Ambassador and attend community events
- Facilitating support groups
- Creating content for social media
- Helping coordinate events like our resource fair, gala, and workshops
- Help with projects on our website
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out this form, and our volunteer coordinator will reach out to you with opportunities!
Please note:
- Many volunteer opportunities require a background check.
- It is preferred that volunteers live locally.
- Most volunteer projects require individuals age 18+. If you are a student, under 18, we have a few opportunities that require permission from a parent/guardian.
