Discover the joy of movement at Boundless Ballet: Academy of Classical Ballet’s Adaptive Dance Class! Designed for youth ages 8-14 of all abilities, this inclusive class provides a supportive environment where every dancer can thrive. Whether seated or standing, students will explore dance through gradual warm-ups, fun music, and creative movement. Our experienced instructor and her 2 teaching assistants offer modifications to accommodate each dancer’s needs. Care providers are welcome to assist students requiring 1:1 support. Join us in celebrating the power of dance, creativity, and community!
We have the resources to support dancers with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and a range of physical/cognitive disabilities. Our instructor, Maria Scott, completed Boston Ballet’s Adaptive Dance Teacher training program in preparation for teaching this class. We have a class capacity of 12 students in this new program, and we still have space for more students (registration closes 1/28/2025).
This is a 10 week class that meets on Mondays from 4-5 pm (except on 2/17). It will be held in the Campbell Community Center, room M-47. Feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any questions about Boundless Ballet!
