SpeciallyAble Cohousing is an integrated, multi-generational housing community built for the Specially Able-d and their loved ones. Our community is designed to address the hardest question all parents/loved ones of a person with intellectual or developmental disabilities struggles with the most:

Life after us for our SpeciallyAble-d?

Our community is built on 5 core principles: (see deck on our Cohousing Community)

An inclusive Community for SpeciallyAble-d & their parents/loved ones.
Transition SIs into their own home using SLS and other supports (Independent Living) with Professional Management
Supplement day programs with “Mind-Body-Soul” enrichment programs run by parents including 3-5 “micro businesses” to generate income
Be a support structure for each other as we gracefully age-in-place with our SIs
Protect the intentionality of the Community for multiple generations (HOA-like structure to enforce proper use & transfers)

Please visit www.speciallyable.com for more info on our Cohousing Community.
