The Family Resource Center (FRC) of San Mateo County invites you to this online training in which you will learn more about the SSI eligibility and appeals criteria for children under 18 years old.
The eligibility criteria for children under age 18 is different than for adults. Children are not expected to work, and their eligibility is determined in other ways: age, disability, income, and resources.
This training is intended for parents/caregivers of children and young adults with disabilities, and professionals who work with these families.
This training is presented by Disability Rights California. The mission of Disability Rights California is to defend, advance, and strengthen the rights and opportunities of people with disabilities.
Zoom registration is required.
