Overview of Special Education Services, IEP Process, Section 504, & Due Process

Please join the Family Resource Center of San Mateo County (FRC) in learning about the basics of special education and the IEP, as well as Section 504 accommodations and due process.

In this online training, you will learn about the Individual Education Program (IEP), terms and definitions such as Child Find, what it means to have a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), as well as a parent’s special education rights such as when there is a disagreement on eligibility, placement, or services.

This training is presented by Disability Rights California.
