This virtual training is for parents/caregivers of children ages 12-20 with suspected or known disabilities and professionals; it will be presented in English. Do you want to learn how to support your child’s future? Join us for a comprehensive two-part virtual workshop series will focus on defining, aiming, and designing an Individual Transition Plan (ITP) in the IEP. An Individual Transition Plan (ITP) is a student-driven written document created as part of the Individual Education Plan (IEP) to prepare a student for life after high school. It outlines transition goals, services, and community activities specific to your student’s needs.
In part 2 of this series, you will learn:
-The different components of the ITP
-What is ITP
-What are services and community activities
-The importance of self-determination
