November 21, 2024 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
This virtual training is for students with disabilities ages 11-20 with an IEP; it will be presented in English.
Have you thought about getting involved in your education by attending your IEP meeting? Imagine if you could help plan and write your IEP – if you could have a voice in creating your education goals and program.
Being a valued member of your IEP team doesn’t happen overnight. It takes some planning and effort on your part. But if you want to be involved, chances are your IEP team will welcome you with open arms – and listen to what you have to say.
You will learn the following:
-The importance of self-advocacy
-The difference between self-advocacy and self-determination
-How to led your IEP meeting
This webinar will be presented by a PHP Special Education Resource Specialist.
