The City of San José continues to advance a portfolio of work dedicated to improving accessibility and equitable inclusion of people with disabilities in City programs and services.

Community members are invited to join and provide input to inform two ongoing initiatives:

1) Chief of Police Recruitment; and
2) 911 Response for individuals with disabilities.

Language and Disability Access: Spanish interpreters will be present. Automatic speech recognition (ASR) captions will be used unless live CART captioning is requested. We welcome suggestions about how to make this meeting more accessible. Other accommodations, such as American Sign Language (ASL), Braille, printed materials and language interpretation will be made available upon request; providing at least one week’s notice will help to ensure availability.
